I am required to learn Korean in order to represent my Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps, 344 Victoria, in a Cadet International Exchange Program to South Korea in the summer of 2012. I am a beginner and have no experience in speaking the Korean language. I would like to dedicate as much time as I have in learning the language, however as of now I only have Fridays from 5:00pm to 6:30pm and on select weekends.

I want to learn the language because I plan on moving to Korea. I believe that learning the language should be the first step to take, since it would be hard to just go Korea without learning the language and thus have difficulty in communicating with the people there.( In regards to the other languages, I'd like to learn them because I believe they will help me expand my horizons and they may help in my career.)
I'm a beginner. The only words I know are those I pick up in Korean dramas and songs.
I want to master the language, be fluent in it as much as possible.
I can dedicate about 3-4 hours every weekend afternoon for lessons, since I have work on weekdays.
As regards to qualities, I want a teacher who is fluent in speaking and writing Korean, patient and can be a friend.
