My proficiency level in Japanese on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 1. I want to learn the Japanese language in order to get a career over in Japan, particularly dealing with computers or tuning cars. I can spend as much time as needed to learn the language. I took a 3 semesters of Japanese in college. Unfortunately , that was 8 years ago and I'm afraid my proficiency is beginner. Hopefully, it will come back quickly. I want to re-learn Japanese to help me do business in Japan. I am a busy professional so I would like to meet personally with a tutor only once a week. I would like a teacher who will use real-world conversations to help me remember grammar and vocabulary.

I am a beginner. I am learning Japanese because it is a requirement for a teaching job in Japan that I am applying for. I have never spoken Japanese so I will need to start from the very beginning. I would like to study twice a week so that I have plenty of time to prepare for the next lesson. I want to work with someone whose native language is Japanese and they have at least 2 years experience teaching. I want my lessons to cover everything and I want them to begin in English and gradually move to Japanese only depending on my fluency.
