I have a sister who lives in Thailand and a Thai girlfriend who speaks english. I need to learn the language so I can talk to people I meet while in Thailand as I visit 1 to 2 times per year. I only know two words in Thai and it's time to get serious and learn the language.

Hello, I would like to learn Thai because I have a Thai girlfriend and many Thai friends and I would like to be able to communicate and connect with them on a much deeper level but I feel the language barrier is stopping me from doing so. I have spend some time in Thailand I love the culture and I am planning on spending more time there in the future. I know little (nid noi) Thai so I would say I am at the beginner level. I am willing to dedicate a couple of nights a week with a tutor and I will do homework of coarse. The qualities I am looking for in a teacher is someone with a good knowledge of the Thai language and culture who is willing to put in the hours to help me speak good Thai.
