I am from a Polish background but have no experience with the language except for random words. I am a beginner in the language and very keen on learning my heritages language. I want to eventually work and live in Poland and having the language will help me achieve this. I Think learning conversationa l will benefit me for now i would be thrilled to read and write though. I am open right now for learning so as much time as i need to feel confident in learning. The qualities in a teacher are easy going and just as eager as me to teach as i am to learn.

I am a beginner, I am learning this language because my partner and his family speak it, and I am going to Poland to meet them in the fall and would like to speak with them and understand them. I can dedicate an hour a week in person, and then homework time.
I am looking for a nice, patient teacher with experience who can teach me more colloquial, spoken polish, then proper written grammar. Ideally, by the end of it, I would like to be able to read basic polish, and be able to have a conversation.

Hello,
I would like to learn to speak and write in Polish. I am a beginner. I do know how to say a handful of words, so I will basically be starting from scratch.
I would like to learn to communicate in Polish because my partner is Polish. He speaks English fluently, as do his parents, but I think that learning to communicate in his family's mother tongue would be an integral part of our relationship, as well as the relationship that will develop with his family.
I would like to thoroughly understand the proper use of grammar; written as well as conversationa l, I would like to perfect (or come close to perfecting) my pronunciation and I would also like to understand the Polish culture.
I would like to dedicate 2 - 3 hours per week taking lessons.
T he qualities that I am looking for in a teacher are kindness, patience and I would like my instructor to be very thorough, as learning this language is very important to me.
