I am a beginer and wish to learn The Thai language with proper grammer which would enable me to converse in the country of origin. I am fluent in English, Hindi and Bengali. I also have an above average knowlege (written and spoken) of French. Punjabi I can manage to understsnd and speak.
I would like to visit Thailand and may be start business transactions there, hense the importance of learning Thai. I feel it is important to know something about the culture and language of a country in order to understand the people and situations there.
I can dedicate at least one hour a day or more depending on how much effort I have to put in. I would like to learn as fast as possible
T he teacher should be experienced in teaching fast and must have patience. Explainations of the cultural aspects of the words and its implications would be helpful.

I will be traveling to Thailand in the spring and would like to learn some of the language. I try to learn a little of the language of any country I visit. Conversatio n is the main emphasis because I don't think I could learn to write it. Grammar is a very important. Does the Thai language use subject, verb, direct object structure. Also, since Thai is a tonal language listening and pronunciate are paramount in speaking.
Two or three hour sessions per week depending on the cost is good.
