I am learning french to help me better understand and connect to all french speaking cultures and people. I think of french as a gateway to the rest of romantic languages i.e Spanish, Portuguese... which I would very much like to learn as a next step.
I like to think of my self as a beginner in french, although I had put a lot of effort in self-studying . I definitely need to work on my conversationa l skills as well as my grammar, particularly my listening.
I am willing to take part of live in person weekly sessions up to 3 times a week for at least 2 hours a day. However, it all has to start past 7 pm, due to my work schedule. I am looking for a teacher who knows how to best guide his students through the massive work of learning a new language, keeps me motivated to progress and have some patience with me.
