I am currently learning spanish, my proficeny level is beginner. The ares in which i feel i need particular improvement is everything.
The period of time i want to dedicate to my language lessons is 1 and a half hours.
The qualities i am looking for in my lessons is that it has to be enjoyable and educational at the same time. My teacher must have at least almost fluent english and they must explain things in the most clearest yet specifc way.

Hi
I wish to learn Cantonese to a colloquial, conversationa l level to enable me to effectively communicate with, and get to know better, my girlfriend's parents and family. Their English is very good but they are more comfortable speaking Cantonese.
I have learnt a few words and phrases, and for a little while felt like I was making progress, but learning a language by oneself has been extremely difficult and I am losing motivation.
My time is severely limited by my work so ideally I would like to have lesson(s) on weekends, preferably somewhere near Mount Gravatt. I am unsure how much time is needed to devote to this study but I could manage an hour or two a week with self-study in between.
I'm looking for a teacher who is patient and will help me deal with my Australian accent and difficulty with getting the different Cantonese inflections right.
