I am of Croatian decent. I'm married into a Croatian family. I've always had a real longing to learn the language but now that I'm surrounded by people who only speak Croatian I would love to be able to communicate with them freely.

I would like to learn the lanuage of my hertiage and therefore will be starting at beginner level. I would like to dedicate time on a weekly basis, perhaps 1-2 lessons, to improve my skills. I have lived in Croatia for 2 years and am interested in continuing my language studies, having completed 1B classes at Croaticum (Filozofski Fakultet). My proficiency level is intermediate. I am hoping to improve in conversation and grammar, and 3-5 hours of instruction per week would be sufficient. Private lessons or with a small group of fellow learners is preferred. I'm looking for a teacher who is centrally located (or can meet somewhere close to downtown Zg), and for someone with some teaching experience who will adapt to my pace of learning.

I would like to improve my Croatian because my mum is from Croatia and unfortunatly I never learned the language properly. I go to Croatia pretty much every year and I would like to be able to communicate a bit more than I can do at the moment.
