I have a three year old little boy whom I would like to start leaning the Mandarin language. We are an all English speaking house, so I would like to have my child speak another language. We have not taken any Mandarin lessons before. We would dedicate as much time as we can to learning the language depending on cost of lesson. We are centrally located in Dallas, and would prefer a teacher who could come to our house where my son is most comfortable, however would be willing to drive to other locations to take classes depending on location and cost. I am looking for a teacher who has worked with young children before and who enjoys teaching children.

I have some free time before I start my Youth Corps, and I decided to learn a language to keep me company. I would like to learn how to read and speak Mandarin because I believe it's the language of the future. It's the second most popular language in the world, and the Nigerian government will soon start doing business with China, so I believe this is the language to learn right now.
I have not taken any classes in Mandarin so I'm starting off as a learner. I can dedicate 5 days during the week, about 4hours each day.
I would like my teacher to be fluent in Mandarin, he should be able to speak,write and read it. He should be patient and be encouraging.
