I want to study the language of Korean because in about a year or two I like to go on a student exchange program. I want to learn Korean and be able to master at least Level 1. I'm looking for a teacher that has experiance in the past years that have thought Korean. Usually I prefer a native speaker, but a non native speaker will also be fine. Hope I can be consider as your student.
I'm also looking for a teacher who can teach me Thai. I'm a native Thai speaker although I forgot how to read and write Thai when I moved to Ameriaca 7 years ago. I want to be prepare when I go back to Thailand in two yeears.

I have been fascinated with different cultures in the world and I do hope one day I will be able to travel abroad. One thing I love is learning the language. I am a Filipina and lived there most of my life so I am fluent in it, and English is my second language. For a few years I've been on and off, learning Japanese and Korean by myself but whenever I fall of the wagon, it takes a while before I can continue again. I can read Hangul, not very proficiently or fast but I can read it. I wish I can broaden my language skills better and be able to use it in the future.

I'm preparing to take the TOPIK exam in June. I took a previous test and it seems I'm somewhere between a level 3 and level 4 (intermediate ). My goal is to ace the intermediate level, and especially become more proficient in speaking and writing.
I lived in Korea for 2 years - that's how I learned what I did, but now I live in the United States. I study for about 8 hours a week.
For a teacher, I need a jack of all trades - someone to help explain grammar points and to check over my compositions, then to chat for speaking practice. :D
