I would like to learn the Portuguese lanuage because I will be relocating to Portugal at the end of 2012. Currently I have no experience in speaking, reading or writing the language. I am available for approx 2 hours per week. I would like to concentrate on the conversationa l aspect primarily. Hello:
I'm interested in taking beginner Portuguese classes. My husband is from the Azores, and we're relocating to Sao Miguel in September. I would like to devote at least several hours a week to a class, and of course, would like to also have access to some language tapes if possible. It's not easy to find a class that offers continental Portuguese rather than Brazilizn.
As for instruction, I did once sign up for a class at a college in beginner Portuguese, but three of the students were already fluent, and so the class was very fast, so I would like to learn at a slower pace with a patient teacher! I'm a complete beginner, so that's necessary for me.
