I am an american writer now living in Bangkok. To live in a country means to hear, understand and speak the local language. Otherwise one remains a tourist.
I have self studied some basic vocabulary, but learning Thai requires knowledge of the alphabet and the aural and tonal patterns unique to Thai. This is where i want to start in my studies.
I would like to devote 2 hours per day to studying, with 2 sessions per week with a teacher.
