The reason I am trying to learn Hungarian is that it might, in the medium-term future, be possible for me to live in Hungary. I have learned one or two other languages, in addition to my native English, at university and when living abroad. I have begun to learn from a book, using Carol Rounds 'Essential Hungarian' and also using Banhidi, Jokay and Szabo 'Learn Hungarian' from the Tanuljunk nyelveket! series. I am a beginner, who is struggling to get to grips with the numerous suffixes, prefixes and the pronoun forms.
Depen ding upon the cost of lessons, I would like to have up to three hours' contact time, via Skype, with the person teaching me.

This is a retirement project. I would be a complete beginner. I would like to be able to converse while being grammatically correct. Hungarian as spoken by ethnic Hungarians living in Transylvania, Romania would be ideal but just to be taught by a native speaker of Hungarian would be great.

My teenage daughter and I want to learn hungarian. We have been trying for the past 4 years on our own with books and tapes but it is too hard.. My father is hungarian but lives in sydney and can't help as much as he would like. We would like to learn because I am 1st generation Australian and we want to know our heritage.

After visting friends in Hungary last year I would like to return and would like to learn the language. I live on the Central coast NSW but have a business in Brisbane that I visit Monthly. I ses the time in brisbane away from home as an opportunity to spend time learning.
