My friend and I would like to work with a tutor one on one. We have both had the grammatical type of study and would like to explore a natural flowing style of teaching to gain confidence in speaking.
Her boyfriend is Italian and she would like to gain confidence in speaking with him and his family. I took Italian in college but had my head stuck in a book and have no real ability to speak freely.
We would like to take the session together so we can practice together. We would like a tutor for at least 1 hour, 1-2 days per week.
We are available in the evening and weekends, I work full time but if need be could skip away for one hour.

I have been self studying Italian for a couple of years due to the fact that my partner is from Italy. I have come to a stand still in what I am capable of learning from books/audio and I lack confidence in speaking. I therefore need a tutor who will help me gain this confidence and arrange structure around learning this language. I wish to spend around an hour a week to begin with to see if private tutoring is for me and to monitor how much I progress over the first couple of months. I wish for my tutor to be organised and encouraging and to arrange a structured course to suit my level.
