I would like to learn a foreign language because although I don't necessarily need to learn another language, I'm sure it would come in useful many times in the future. I would like to learn Spanish because it is one of the most useful, and widely used languages. Learning another language would also open up new doors for many volunteering, and part-time career opportunities .
I am at a beginner level in Spanish. I have never learned it before, but I know a few of the basic phrases, such as how to start some casual conversations . I don't really know how to pronounciate the words correctly yet.
As I have barely started, I'm a beginner in all categories, and my strengths and weaknesses have not yet differentiate d themselves yet. However, taking my experiences with other languages into account, I would say that my pronounciatio n would need the most improvement, along with my oral capabilities when having a conversation with someone.
I also have interest in learning German or Italian, as I am planning on traveling to Europe sometime in the future, and would like to be familiar with some widely spoken European languages. However, I do not have any experience with German, and my Italian is very limited to musical terminology.
I am also interested in learning some Japanese. I know some common words and phrases, but I think my pronunciation is a little off. I am likely going to travel to Japan for a school trip next summer, and would like to at least learn some of the basics.
I am willing to dedicate as much time as possible in order to learn any language correctly, as I would like to become quite fluent with any languages that I learn.
While I am not looking for any highly specific qualities in my future teacher, I feel that I work best with enthousiastic , patient teachers and interactive lessons.

Good day,
As a Belgian born french speaking native language, I will be working on an Italian flagged vessel converted into a floating terminal that will be located in Italian waters off Tuscany. Being there the Terminal Manager, the Italian laws require that I can speak Italian at least for all relating business matters including but not limited to safety and security. Those two are the most important items. I will also need to familiarize myself with relevant Italian legislation. So my needs are to be able to speak and more importaznt to understand the spoken and written language. Therefore I need good grammar knowledge and vocabulary. For specialized vocabulary related to my job, I might be able to take care of this by myself with the help of a good dictionnary.
My level is beginner. I do know some sentences and words but these are very limited.

I want to learn italian because i was born there but i grew up in Ghana and it is now time for me to go back and continue with my studies. So, i'm a beginner. So, i really need to learn how to read, write, speak and hear Italian. I would like to perfect in da language within one year or less, if possible.
