1. I am a bit more than a beginner Spanish level, but not Intermediate.

I would like to learn Creole because it has been spoken by my elder family members in Louisiana for years. I plan to purchase instruction books to begin learning the basics and I hope to locate an instructor to help me in learning the language.I am currently in graduate school but very close to graduation, so I am able to dedicate a few nights a week to learning.
I would also like to learn Spanish for professional purposes.

I have completed a few very basic continuing education classes, but my proficiency level is still beginner, and there are no higher courses offered in my area.
I am in medical school and feel it would behoove me to become fluent in Spanish. I also have an interest in the culture.
I am a very quick learner and a diligent student. I have taken 4 years of Latin previously.
I am currently in the middle of my graduate studies, but can make time in the later afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends. My schedule is fairly flexible.
If possible, with the help of an experienced teacher, I would like to speak, understand, read and write--basica lly to become completely fluent--in Spanish.
