Dear Russian Language Teacher,
I have an intermediate level Russian Language proficiency, but all from either speaking while living and working in Ukraine for years or listening to language CDs earlier. No formal academic learning.
I would like to improve both my speaking proficiency and learn the academic approach to the language whereby, improving the extent of my grammar, and vocabulary. I prefer an instructor lead class of no more than 20 students over one-to-one tutoring since that form of learning is structured, and more academically formatted.

Beginner at Arabic, will learn either Egyptian (preferred) or standard. My family is from Egypt, unfortunately I didn't pay much attention when I was little! I want to learn for personal reasons, to better connect with my heritage.
I can probably dedicate not that much time to this at my current stage in life, three times a week 1 hour each? Whatever is necessary.
I'm looking for a teacher who is patient and understanding about my current financial situation, since I am a volunteer through VISTA. Maybe work out some half-payment, half-food deal.

I do not know any spanish other than the customary. I have always wanted to learn another language and now that there is so many latinos in our fair city, I figured now was a good time. Returned Peace Corps volunteer from Mauritania (2006-2008, returned in August). Proficient in Hassaniya (Advanced Mid) and French (Advanced Low). Learned Arabic alphabet a year ago.
