I am moving to Tokyo in November and am thus keen to learn the language. I will be a beginner.
I would like to spend 3-4 hours per week on learning the language.
I am looking for a teacher who is:
1. extremely well versed with the language and is equipped with the necessary credentials to teach.
2. Japanese, and well versed with English (desired but not essential)
3. Patient but at the same time, goal driven.
4. Punctual, work oriented and efficient.
I want to be very proficient in speaking the language. If I am able to understand the written script, it would be great.

I am a rank beginner, interested in learning Tamil for use in business. I will be in Bangalore two weeks out of every month for the next year. I am looking for instruction in the evenings which will help me in conversations with line level employees. The plant where I will be working is near Hosur, which is in Tamil Nadu. As in most cases, there is a mix of languages, but Tamil would help with a majority of the employees. Most employees understand English, but their common conversation is in regional languages, often a mix of several, including English.
I could devote one or two hours each evening to this endeavor during the time I am in Bangalore.
I am looking for patience, perseverance, and an understanding of the needs of the business client in a language instructor. I would like to concentrate on business language in order to make as much progress as possible in the shortest possible time. I am more interested in conversationa l Tamil than in reading or literary Tamil.
I would need help in all aspects, since I know nothing at present. This is my own private undertaking, not an expense item, so expense is a factor.
