Am planning to learn one European language out of Spanish, German, French and Dutch. This is for dual purpose - for career advancement and also for getting myself comfortable with European environment.
As of now, I am totally new to these languages and would have to start from scratch. Am willing to dedicate weekends for the langauge lessons.
I would prefer these qualities for the teacher: language proficiency (preferably native language speaker), patience (teaching a language to a beginner student needs lot of patience), understanding (able to appreciate cultural differences and phonetics based differences).

I know english quite well, Speaks/write quite well. But not master of it(English). I am too weak in some areas like spelling; vocabulary needs to be increased but I am quite good at grammar. I wish to improve language skills to be able to express myself in simple effective words. I want my presentations to be to-the-point and understandabl e to the person, who is having basic knowledge of the domain.
