I am a beginner, having taken some German in school. I want to learn a second language mainly because I believe it to be important to continue learning new things throughout my life. I also have a desire to learn about other cultures and ways of life. I am a beginner and as such I need to work on all aspects of the language I am learning. I would like to come up with a schedule for lessons with the teacher I choose. A teacher with patience will be important, as I am only starting out.

I am a beginner. Trying to learn french in detail for conversations , grammar and writing to migrate to Canada
I dont know how much time is required for me to learn the language. I have 1 year in my hand. So its up to the teacher how long should I be dedicated to learn the language. Again I can only dedicate 2 days in a week.
Teacher should be able to give me a certificate or a signed letter along with the teachers certificate on French for migration needs.
