I am French. Just arrived from Autralia for professional reasons for my husband, I would like to learm Hindi during my fe time in order to be able to express myself and to be understood by anyone in my daily activities. I am a real beginner, never learnt a word of Hindi.
I have a lot of time during the day. I would like to work mainly the conversation if possible in group lesson.
I am looking for a teacher who is patient, and has some good tips for a new learner.

My proficiency level:A beginner(thou gh I have come accross technical words while involved in technica work like german standards(DIN ),and technical drawings.
Career advancement is obviously in mind,but itis secondary. It is my passion as well as professional compulsion to have knowledge of at least 2/3 foreign languages.
Practically I am a beginner,afte r acquiring preliminary knowledge,I shall prefer to give more stress on conversation than grammer.
Since I am working,I would prefer 2/3 classes in a week after 6 in the evening.On sundays,I can spare at least 3 hrs.
For a beginner,slow er pace and foundation building is first in priority.I know language learning course generally is not so interesting, still some attraction in the syllabus is desirable. I expect patience and individual attention from the teacher so that purpose of spending time on the subject becomes meaningful.
