I am a doctor who will begin training in the US starting June 08. I need to learn Spanish to communicate well with the fairly large Hispanic population that I will encounter here. I am a beginner, and need to be adequately fluent in this language.

I can understand and read Marathi as i stayed in Maharashtra for 5 years, but my spoken Marathi is poor. My wife is Maharashtrian and i want to converse with her fluently in her Mother tongue, just as she does with me in Bengali. she will never feel homesick then! i def. need improvement in conversationa l Marathi.i can dedicate 1 to 2 hours daily on my learning.
