In Malaysia for 6month, I would like to begin chinese mandarin in prevision of a trip in China for a training of several months. I would need for that to be able to be understood and to understand a few the peopes, signs, and eventually press/TV a bit;
I am looking for a teacher who can give me lessons to read/talk/wri te chinese madarin, around 2times a week or more,
Lessons may be given in English. The teacher may be fluent english; Experienced teacher is expected.

I have taken Mandarin Chinese for 2 semesters at Pima College. I have already forgotten much of what I have learned through lack of practice. I am interested in learning both spoken and written Chinese (simplified charaqcters). I have tried informally exchanging lessons with a Chinese acquaintance. From that experience I feel I need to learn in a more structured environment.

I like to learn for fun, mainly speaking. I am happy to spend 2 to 3 hours a week, depending on the liveliness of the class and teacher
As I mentioned, I am looking for a female teacher (In my view they are better teachers) , who has a good environment for giving lessons, good sense of humor and love western dance.
