I am learning Chinese because I love the challenge of this language. I am at a basic level of Chinese. I know the phonics, and know about 300 words. I want to work on speaking and listening (holding a conversation) . I want a tutor for 4 hours a week. In the future I plan to pursue a career in foreign affairs, and I believe that learning as many languages as possible will be helpful. I speak fluent Spanish and English, and am currently learning Portuguese. I feel that Mandarin and Arabic are both useful languages in helping me succeed in the future. I'm looking for a tutor who is very interactive, because I learn best through speaking and interactive activities.
