i guess you could call me a beginner in spanish. i know very little, but some. i wanna learn not only the textbook stuff but also the street stuff. i wanna learn spanish just because and because there is a growing number of spanish speaking people in our country.
my weaknesses are listening to the language and understanding it. i do ok when reading it. i need help with vocabulary. i also have a big problem with retaining what ive learned. so i need a teacher that can help in those areas especially with helping me retain the information.

I am at the intermediate level - I have taken a number of formal courses and taught English in Chile for five months.
I am very interested in learning Spanish both for personal reasons (I love the culture, it's a thrill to be able to communicate in this language) and for carreer reasons (I work in communication s, sometimes international ly)
I need help in all areas - grammar and conversation. I tend to be able to muddle through but want to develop a solid grasp of the language
