I would like to learn mandarin is mainly because I'm a Chinese and I felt it is important especially at work where most Chinese communicates in Mandarin.
My proficiency is considered beginner. I only know a few words (about 30-40 words).
I would like to have a proper training in the language from scratch (read, write and speak).
I' m hoping to spend around 1-2hrs lesson per week since I'm working and the rest is for self study revision to prepare myself for the next lesson.
I do not have any particular qualities that I'm looking for in the teacher. However, I'm hoping to have a reasonable quality in the lesson so that I can take back and revise/practi ce.

I recently visited China and fell in love with the language (Mandarin). I learned the extreme basics while I was there and have continued learning very slowly with an app but I'd still consider myself a new learner/begin ner. I would really like to learn to speak and understand the language with some basic reading (I've found that I'm better at reading than remembering the pronunciation s). I would like to dedicate about five hours per week to learning and I am looking for a teacher who is a native Mandarin speaker and who also speaks English.
