Born in South Korea of a Korean mother and a Filipino father, my family moved to Hong Kong when i was a little girl and there, i studied at British schools, so my first language is really English.
I moved to the Philippines for university and law school, and here i learned how to speak Filipino.
while in Hong Kong, i had Mandarin tutorials when i was very young for a few years. Back then, i could speak the language quite well. I was also learning how to read and write chinese. I also came to understand quite a bit of conversationa l Cantonese since that is the dialect used in Hong Kong.
Unfo rtunately, it has been a very long time since i've gotten any practice. And I have forgotten most of what i have learned. i would like to regain my lost proficiency in Mandarin. Speaking, reading and writing. I am still familiar with the pinyin method of learning Mandarin.
Also, as a child, i used to be able to speak Korean. But I have long since also forgotten how to speak my mother's language.
I am looking for reasonably priced private tutors in Mandarin and Korean. They should be native speakers of the language. For the Mandarin, mainland Chinese is preferred.
