I am a Vancouver born Chinese Canadian. I have left my senior position with eBay to explore business opportunities in Shanghai and to learn Mandarin. I have visted Shanghai twice this year and am committed to learn Mandarin full time with a qualified language tutor who is able make the learning experience effective and fun.
Because I am Chinese it is very important for me to learn Mandarin now; I have waited too long. I need to learn both grammar and to be able to be proficient in conversation. I am committed to this on a full time daily basis.
Again, I am looking for a qualified tutor/teacher with an language education training or certification . Someone who is from Shanghai with Chinese business experience. Someone who is patient, interestng and patient.

I'am a college student taking up BS in accountancy and I believe I need to learn chinese for my profession. Being in a business related course I want to learn the language of my future clients and for me to have an edge on my job.
I don't have any knowledge of the language but I'm dedicated to learn. I could dedicate 3 hours a week for my lessons. I prefer to have it in groups of 3-4. And i like a teacher who could at least speak in Filipino and fluently on my foreign language.
