I am an Indian Expat working in KL, Cberjaya. I am Male of 33 yrs of age, married with spouse and a daughter.
Am interested to learn Mandarin Chinese and Malay - starting from basics to advanced - looking for a time frame of 6 motnhs to 1 yr for this.
Prefer classroom / private tuitions. Also Voice Chat is acceptable. However. my drawbacks are that I am a slow learner with short memory - hence the teacher has to be patient. In return I am ready to pay or teach english / hindi / bengali.

I am a beginner student of Mandarin. I only took one semester in college. I speak Cantonese at home. I would like to learn Mandarin so that I may communicate with clients who speak it. I am a realtor and many clients who come to my agency speak Mandarin. Because of my schedule, i can only dedicate 1-2 hours/week. I would like a teacher who is patient yet challenging.

My husband and I are adopting a 3 year old boy from China. We will be travelling in April or May of this year. We have no background in Chinese language and are looking for private lessons for the two of us. Since our travel date is approaching soon, we need to start lessons very soon.
We are looking for a native Mandarin speaker who can teach us how to communicate with our son while he is learning English. We would like to learn basic phrases and words and pronuncicatio ns. We are not particularly interested in learning grammer or written language. In addition, we would like to learn some children's songs/nursery rhymes etc. that would be fun for him.
