I am looking for some tutoring in Chinese. I studied it for a few years in college, and studied abroad in China as well. However, it's been a few years since graduation, and I haven't used it since. I'm out of practice! I just got a job working with international students coming here from China, and want some conversation practice before I meet them.

I'm an upper intermediate / advanced Mandarin language speaker, and have studied intensive Mandarin in Taipei for over a year. I will be moving to Shanghai in January for work, and want to improve my verbal fluency before moving there. I don't want to spend time focused on reading, since my reading is currently much better than my speaking ability.
I travel frequently for work, so need some scheduling flexibility. Weekends are likely the best time for me, although I'm also interested in exploring the idea of doing video conferenced lessons during weekdays. Ideally, I'd like to spend 2-4 hours a week in lessons.
I 'd like to find a tutor for private instruction who has experience teaching students at an intermediate/ advanced level. Some business background would be helpful, but not critical, since I also have an interest in business Chinese.

I hv bought a lot of CD and books, some of them I like how the way they teach, such as rocket language. It easy to remember and connect word by word.

I want my kids to be exposed to Mandarin. So, the class would probably include a 2nd grader, a 4th grader and myself. We would like to meet once a week and start with basic vocabulary and grammar.
T he attribute I value most in a foreign language teacher is to be aware of the students' needs and have an effective teaching style; someone who can modify their approach to get the most progress in their students.
