I have gone through most of a Pimsleur CD series on Mandarin. Sometimes when I speak with a native speaker they understand me but sometimes they don't. I view what I have done as a very rough begining but I have a lot to learn. My interest in Chinese is both personal and business related (I import chemicals from China and I travel there often).
I would like to dedicate at least 10 hours per week to my learning.
I would like a teacher that is good at teaching.

Hi..I'm just surfing for a good and cheap chinese school that i can afford here in the philippines. I want to learn chinese language because my in-laws are chinese. Most of the time when they are talking I can't understand there conversation so i decided to look for a chinese school. And I think it's also an advantage for a career advancement.W hat I want to learn is the grammar, daily conversation and a lot more. I hope, I can attend to your class by the month of April or May. I'm looking for a good teacher who have a lot of patients and good qualities of teaching. What I don't like to a teacher is a do your self studies and shouting at his/her student. I hope i can attend to your class, that's one of my wish.
