My job has required me to work in Asia for the past 10 years. I do not speak any Mandarin other than the numbers 1-10, some colors and common courtesy words. I am beginner.
I would like to dedicate 3 to 4 hours per week, maybe more if schedules permit. I would like my teacher to be available on weekday evenings and maybe on Saturdays as I am also employed full time. I would prefer that the teachings focus primarily on listening and speaking skills in order to become conversationa l. If I can master this, then I would enjoy the writing skills at some later point.
