I am just beginning in my journey to learn Mandarin Chinese. I would like to learn Chinese in order to travel to China, and perhaps eventually to study or work overseas. I would like to work on all aspects of the language, including conversation, reading, and writing, and would like to dedicate somewhere around 2-4 hours a week to lessons. My ideal teacher would be someone who can make learning interesting and fun, perhaps by incorporating information about Chinese culture, history, and politics into the lessons. I tend to learn best when I am taught in a very structured manner by focusing on the grammar and rules of language.

My daughter is a beginner in all three languages, I would like for her to become more fluent in all three. This opportunity will be of great value in her future, as much time needed to master the language and its cultural benefits.
My brother is interested in Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, and korean; due to his career goals in animation.
As for myself my spanish and french skills are intermediate, I can identify everyday objects, places, and numbers in both languages. I would like to hold a meaningful conversation with my peers. Since my time is very limited I would only be able to dedicate two days a week for training.
I would like a teacher who is very lively, confident, and enthustiastic about her training techniques.
