Hello,
I want to learn Chinese Mandarin for both conversation and writing in a fast-track environment. I am looking to relocate to China within a year or less.
I have no past experience (except understanding a few simple phrases) but I am committed in learning the language. I am looking for 1 hour each day after 5.30pm (as I need to go to work during the day). Weekends are completely open. I am open to any suggestion on lesson arragement (frequency and length of time) as long as it is to learn the language quicker.
I am looking to learn Mandarin preferably with traditional characters. I hope to find a teacher who is committed, structured, and patience.
Logistical arrangement can be discussed. I currently live in downtown Vancouver and work in Burnaby North.

Proficiency level is beginner. I now basic greetings and numbers. My desire to learn Manadarin is to be able to communicate more effectively with my fiance' who is currently living in China and taking English lessons. I need improvement in all areas as I have primarily studied by using audio language courses. I willing to dedicate as much time to learning as I can.
