I would like to enrol my son on a one on one mandarin language because he will be needing that to his new school.His level is beginner.As much as possible I want him to study the language everyday at least 1- 11/2 hours..Iam looking for a very good and patience tutor since learning other language is quite difficult.

I am attending a graduate program in Nanjing China this fall and need help practicing my reading skills (of academic articles) and making the transition to simplified characters (I only read the fan ti zi). I may need one-on-one lessons, but I'm open to group lessons also.

Beginner level.
I Would like to learn Chinese Mandarin as I am half Chinese but never had the opportunity to learn the language being born and raised in Gauteng, South Africa. Also, I am currently getting more involved in the Buddhist way of life/living and feel it is critical that I know and understand the language being spoken by the 'Master' of the temple.
As I would start from a beginners level, the basics would be required and then of course moving on to a higher/extens ive level for speaking the language.
Dedicated time to the language lessons - as much as possible, notwithstandi ng area that the teacher is in, costs and availability.
Qualitis for lessons - a teacher needs to have extensive knowledge of the language that they teach, be supportive and patient when it comes to teaching the course as it is a very complex language to learn, especially for a beginner.
