I am a 35 year old single mom and would lo9ve to learn mandarin for myself and also my two young daughters ages 4 and 7 and my niece age 7. I don't know if we could take the class together. We do not know one word of mandarin We are willing to dedicate at leaset two hours a week.
I want them to learn the language to give them an edge twenty years from now in society. For my self I think it could help my career also i find it fascinating

I am an American law student who is looking to learn Mandarin Chinese. I have no previous instruction in Manarin, so I am at the beginner level of proficiency. (However, I should mention that I have some background in conversationa l Cantonese). Basically, I want to learn Chinese for personal fulfillment and also for potential career advancement. I would like to dedicate a minimum of 5 hours a week to language lessons if possible.
