I travel to China approximately twice yearly, visiting the Daoist Temples and learning medical qigong. I find that I need to be able to converse in the native language, to maximize my experiences there. I would like to have a private tutor because I travel so much, I cannot commit to consistent days of every week.

I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. I am currently in Dental school in Canada and have 2 years left until I become a dentist. I am a beginner in Mandarin. I am traveling to Taipei for 2 weeks, June 12-26 and am looking to learn some Mandarin in the mornings and during the day. I am interested in conversationa l mandarin, I don't need to learn how to read or write. I would be willing to spend up to 4-5 hours a day. I am looking for a teacher that is willing to help me and can tailor the lessons accordingly. I am a fairly fast learning and would be very grateful.
