I have just begun learning Mandarin, so I don't have the best concept of the language yet. I have no experience with the Chinese characters and I have a feeling I will need to do a lot of work with that. I took a class in Mandarin Chinese, but it only met once a week and I feel like I need a more personal learning method. I'm only 17, but I am determined to learn mandarin because my friend and I both want to move to either China or Taiwan in the future. I would love to teach Mandarin in a Chinese school. I think it would be best if my teacher had a bit of patience because sometime I have trouble with completely grasping the concepts at hand. My friend would also love to take lessons with me. I am determined to become fluent in Mandarin, so I am willing to dedicate a good amount of time. I hope to hear from some one who is ready to teach me! Thanks!

I have a basic knowledge of chinese language ( in other words i know enough to get what i want and explain things when i don't know the words in chinglish) I know alot of words it's putting them together i need help with.
I spent 2 years in China teaching english and learned most of my chinese then. Now i'm married my husband is Shanghainese and i want to be able to speak to his family. I plan on returning to china to live next year and attending university to learn it fluently. But any help i can get now is great! I can teach myself reading and writting so it's really the conversation part i need although having somethings to read as i go is helpful.
Als o i would like to include my daughter in classes as she will be attending a chinese school next year and she has lost all the chinese she learned when living and attending school there for one year ( she's 8 now she was 5 then)
I'm willing to travel for lessons. What ever is easiest. i even have all the material you could need to teach chinese.
A lso looking to learn to play the Erhu i brought one back from my last trip :P if you know anyone
