1. My Proficiency level in the Language - Beginner
2. I am learning the language to be able to converse, read, write. Literary interest. (Read books, articles, watch movies)
3. Areas of Interest - Since I am a beginner this question is not answerable :)
4. 1 hour every day or 2 hours twice or thrice a week.
5. Should be patient, should have clear command over the language. If the person is more literary oriented - even better.

I'm an eighteen year old asian female interested in learning french. I know very little, thus I suppose I would categorize myself as a beginner. I've always been interested in learning french because my best friend's part french, I just never got around to it.
I'm looking for a teacher that is patient because I have terrible terrible terrible (it's really bad) memory. I'm not really good at learning languages (I've a very poor grasp of mandarin). Interested in lessons about once a week, more during holidays (perhaps thrice).
I nterested in three to one (My brother and friend are interested too). I live in the west, but said friend lives in the east, so preferably a central location would be good.

I have very basic knowledge of french as i have learnt it in primary school many years ago. I would like to be able to converse, know its grammatical rules, read and write flawlessly. i am a beginner and want to take my knowledge of french all the way in 6 months, by having private classes 3 times a week for an hour and a half each.

I have 3 kids, 2 of whom are currently at the Alliance Francais. My 9 year ols is coping but my 7 year old has been there for over two years but struggling. I also have a 5 year old eager to learn. I am looking at starting them altogether instead of at the Alliance. They need to learn French as we will be moving to Canada in a couple of years.
