My parents are portuguese, so I can understand portuguese reasonable well, most of the time my parents talk to me in portuguese and I respond in english. I can also read a bit.
I recently went on holidays to Portugal to visit my family and i would like to improve.
I want to spend as much time as it take learning Portuguese, until i am fluent.

I am a beginner. I want to learn this language because my mothers native tongue is derived from spanish (tagalog). I intend to travel to spain and also just for the fun of learning another langauge. I have studied japanese on a tee level but unfortunately fell out of habit after highscool, someday i'd like to pick that up again but for now my interests are in Spanish.
