I would like to learn Chinese for an upcoming trip to China this summer [2008]. I am interested in learning as much as I possibly can so that I can travel freely throughout China knowing how to speak the basics of the language. I plan to travel in May/June 2008. I am willing to dedicate 6 months (from the present until my trip) to learning the language at an intensive level on a weekly/monthl y basis. I would like to learn the language from a native Chinese speaker who will correct me with pronunciation , is patient, is creative with learning the language and grammar through games, literature, etc., and is willing to help me learn at an intensive level.
