My proficiency level is beginner. I want to learn mandarin so that I can move to Hong Kong or Taiwan and teach English. Also, I want to be able to speak fluently to the locals, without difficulty.
The area that I need to concentrate on is conversationa l Mandarin. I'd like to have lessons on the weekend, and I don't mind about the teacher. As long as the teacher is nice and patient.

I am making this enquiry on behalf of my father.
My father is a photographer who has travelled in China. He would like to learn Mandarin to be able to communicate while in China.
No previous experience with learning Chinese/Manda rin.
He is looking for one on one tuition, must be face to face, preferably within 5 to 10 kilometres of Mt Lawley in Perth. Ideally he is looking for a teacher who has previously successfully taught others to speak Mandarin.
