Hi, I'm currently working in Beijing with the national speedskating team. My work term will be ending this month and I will be in calgary for 4 monthes, then I will return. I need Mandarin to effectively communicate with my skaters. I'm a beginner-inte rmiediate. My biggest trouble is listening skills. My speaking is limited but not too bad. I'm willing to work with a tutor 2x per week or 3x per week depending on cost and availablity. I'm looking for a teacher that can give me the words and sentence patterns that I need to do my job. I want a teacher that gives me homework. I want a teacher who is well prepared and has a general plan for me to reach my goals. My goals are to be able to understand what I hear and speak well enough to be understood. I dont believe in being perfect in speaking...th at will come with time. I also like having fun as well!
