I am very much a beginner, and have never really taken to learning languages in the past. I have completed an under-graduat e degree in Modern History and a Masters in International History and would like to work abroad in the Future. To this end i want to be functional in Mandarin Chinese as China is a rapidly expanding economic super-power and i have always held Chinese culture and history in extremely high-regrad. Im not sure how much time i would need to devote but i can be quite flexible and can travel if needs be.

Hello,
I had three years of Chinese in college, but I don't think
my conversation skill meets third year of Chinese background and I want to keep up with my Chinese.
Most of all, I want to be able to engage in Chinese conversation with more easiness, and eventually I want to be competent enough to take HSK test later on.
I want to meet up twice a week.
