I am very interested in learning the Mandarin langauge. I took a course at the University of Central Florida in 1998. About a year ago I began studying again on my own. I consider my self a beginner, however, I do know some basic words and the concept of intonations. I am interested in spending time in China to do charity work. I will require aid in all areas but I am passionate about learning. I can dedicate to having two or three lessons a week of approximately 30min. I am looking for a teacher who is structured in thier teaching but at the same time allows me to learn through everyday life. I am also interested in working with someone who understands and loves the culture and history of China.

I am hoping to continue learning Mandarin Chinese. I have just moved to Abu Dhabi after living in Taiwan for 4 years. During my time there, I managed to attain a reasonable standard of conversationa l Chinese, and I feel it would be a shame to let that go to waste. No proficiency in Mandarin. My husband and I are adopting a 5 year old boy from China (Rui Lei). He speaks no English--we speak no Chinese. We would like him to continue to speak to language as well as learn ours. We need to learn Chinese.
W e would like to learn how to speak mostly, but also how to read and write. We would like our son to continue in his character studies and be proficient in Chinese grammar; pin yin and characters.

I am an Australian-bo rn Chinese, raised only speaking English. I am also a doctor, and would very much like to become fluent in conversationa l Mandarin, to a level at which I am able to confidently converse with my Chinese-speak ing patients.
I am a dedicated, motivated and enthusiastic student, and a quick learner. I am at complete beginner level, and would be looking for an experienced and patient teacher. I am mostly interested in conversationa l Mandarin, but would also be keen to learn to read and write.

I am interested to learn Mandarin language, which I am a beginner. I never learned the language before, however felt it will benefited me in my career and its environment if I am am able to converse and understand Mandarin. I would need particular improvement in conversation and grammar. I would prefer that my classes be on the weekdays evening, after 6pm. I am looking for teachers that could also converse in English, and hold classes around the Klang Valley area in Kuala Lumpur, where the class is more than at least 5 people in a class.
