I am a beginner in Mandarin and have taken a 101 class at city college. I wish to further my understanding of Chinese for because I would like to travel to China and eventually live and work there within a couple of years. I need particular help in speaking and listening, and distinguishin g tones.

I am biginner. I have no practical knowledge in Chinese Mandarin and wish to learn. I want to use the language in the future and besides I have friends who speak the language. I am currently working on shifts and my schedule is a challenging factor and I need a teacher that can make ends meet. I am willing to compromise with regards to the schedule and I am diligent student as long as my mentor stirs my interest and does not stagnate.
