Why do I want to learn French
I am hoping to move to France to live and work in a little over 1 1/2 years. I currently work for the US Embassy in Seoul and after reviewing most of the government job openings in France I realize I must speak the language at some level. The more I speak, the better my chances of finding a better job.
What areas do I hope to study and what is my current level?
I am a beginner and have never spoken French before. I do have access to the French Rosetta Stone courses for free and hope to study those on my own. I hope to study all areas (grammar, vocabulary, conversation, and some business terminology).
How much time can I dedicate to my lessons?
L ike many students how much time will depend on the cost of the lessons. I hope to study about 4-6 hours per week in lessons and then approximately 10 hours a week on my own (dependant on my work schedule).
What qualities am I looking for in a teacher?
E nergetic and patient. I usually pick up vocabulary very easily but grammar sometimes can be tricky. I am looking for someone who can make the lessons interesting for me and not just the normal reading out of a book, repeating words over and over again, etc. I can do that on my own if needed.

I also have a friend who hopes to move to France around the same time. She is a Korean national who has a good understanding of English and has lived abroad before. If she decides to take classes at the same time as me, I would like us to be able to take them together (2 students only).
Additiona l Info About me:
I am 29 years old and live around central Seoul. I do have degrees in business and Korean already and will begin my graduate degree work in January in international relations; so I am dedicated if I am enjoying what I am studying. I hope to start classes in early to mid-December. When I first start learning a new language I am a bit self-concious so am trying to avoid a larger classroom environment until I get some of the basics down.

Hello,
My name is Mohamed Abdel Aziz, 23 years old and I am very interested in learning how to speak, read and write fluently in french. I have very basic knowledge in the french language and would like to improve all areas.
I am looking for a private tutor who has mastered the language, and willing to give me intensive lessons one on one. I am also looking for a tutor who is flexible regarding lesson times and willing to give me 3 hour sessions around 3 times a week, if possible.

I am planning a trip this year to Paris (in the fall) and would like to achieve some conversationa l skills with french. I have studied using 'Rosetta Stone' and have some basic knowledge. I need more conversationa l skills and this has been a long time dream of mine to learn a second language. I am always available on Monday and will commute to Orlando area for private tutoring. I am available for 1 to 2 hours or whatever an instructor would see as necessary. I will do at home lessons and practice. One major purpose of privated tutoring is that I want to strengthen my basic knowledge that I have in french and have someone help me achieve a goal of knowing a second language. I am willing to do multiple private lessons during the week and have a flexible work schedule. This is a very important goal for me. I hope to one day travel more or possibly move abroad even if part time in a french speaking country.
