I spent three years in college studying Mandarin, and also spent a semester abroad in Beijing. My husband's family is Chinese, and I am learning so as to be able to communicate with his family. We also want whatever children we may have to learn Chinese. I have not practiced for two years and my profiency level has gone way down. I need to take some classes to relearn everything.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a Spanish girl that she just came to Ningbo to visit my boyfriend who is working in Marriott Ningbo and I would like to find a job in order to stay here in the country.
I would like to take some Chinese lessons as a beginner between 3 or 5 hours per week. I guess the best for me would be conversation. I would like to be able to communicate with Chinese people.

Although I finished three semesters of Mandarin chinese at Temple University with an A grade average, I would still consider myself a beginner. I believe my pronunciation to be fairly well. I learned many characters in my clases though I have forgotten most (that does not necessarily mean I don't know them, however. I would need to do extensive reviewing). My biggest issue that I felt was not addressed well in my class was listening comprehension . Above all I want to be able to understand native speakers. A teacher who has a friendly disposition but also is very experienced in teaching language is preferred. I am a tactical learner, so a teacher who is able to strategize on the best way for me to learn would be wonderful. I am very passionate about learning Mandarin so a teacher who is passionate about helping others learn would be a great fit.
