Hi Michelle, My husband and I are looking to continue our beginner level Mandarin. We have just completed 1 semester at Unitec -evening class. We would like to travel to China in 2011. To avoid babysitting our daughter every Tuesday night we are considering having a tutor come to our home. Our most suitable nites would be Tuesday,Thurs days.I also noticed you are qualified as ESOL. We adopted our daughter from China 20 months ago and she is now 5. The school does not seem to have a good ESOL programme. Do you teach that privately? She is also interested in learning some Chinese so I don't know if you can do a 1/2 hour lesson with her at the beginning and then an hour or so with my husband and I.
I know I need a teacher that will test me every week on my homework. Looking forward to your reply. Shona
