I am a native English speaker who is looking to learn Mandarin Chinese for conversationa l and business purposes in order to further educate myself. I am a complete beginner and have had no previous education in Chinese. I have studied Hebrew and while not fluent, I've experienced learning in a different alphabet.
I'm looking to dedicate as much time as needed to become fluent and am looking for a an experienced teacher. I live in Coconut Grove and am looking to travel to a close location to learn.

I am a beginner. I tried to learn some Mandarin from a computer training program, but it was difficult to be motivated speaking to the computer! I also spent a month in China, and tried to speak from a phrase book when I was there.
I would like to spend about 1 or 2 hours per week in private or small group lessons to learn more conversationa l Mandarin Chinese.

My proficiency level of Chinese-Manda rin is beginner. My native language is English, but I have been speaking Chinese-Canto nese since I was little. I am seeking to learn Mandarin to expand my communication skills in business. I will need help in grammar and conversation. I would like to dedicate at minimum of one night a week to a maximum of 2 nights a week as I am a working parent.
